Cesar sent us an email last night telling us to find about 5 sources for the project. We will go over these sources
today in class and set up who's doing what for the project.

The group met outside of class to figure out the game plan before thanksgiving starts. We have decided to split up the project load, based on a particular technological development. From this development each of us is responsible for discussing this development and any controls that first came out with this feature, as well as the effects of gaming from the gamers perspective and how they took it to the video game developers and how they integrated the new technology into their games. We decided to go with more of a webpage format here on the site instead of a linear format. Also, tonight some time Chris will post a list of these techological developments so each of us from the goup can sign up for a section. I will then later be back on the website to post a skeleton of what information I plan to research for my given technological development. We plan on meeting on Friday to make sure our research process is set to go for the weekend. Monday we will piece our parts together to create an executive summary, a timeline, and to work out any kinks in each others research. We plan to have this project pretty much finalized before Wednesday and we will review all of our work the following Monday for our presentation on Wednesday.

Thanksgiving has made it somewhat difficult to get as involved with our project as we've wanted to. With a break in classes and traveling we have to work even harder when we come back.

Cesar added additional resources to our resource page. There is also now a preliminary works cited page with most of the references made throughout the Wiki. Cesar also has added some additional information to the control timeline.

The group met in the Library to discuss the presentation tomorrow. We have had a lot of success in tonights meeting and feel confident about the presentation tomorrow. We created additional information pages for each time line innovation which will help lead the presentation. We also went through the wiki formatting the pages and arranging information based on innovation.

Today is the final day of wiki research. We proofread all of the pages, put finishing touches on each, constructed our works cited page, and completed an overview of the project. We also made revisions to the format and layout of each of our pages.
The online nature of the wiki made it much easier to work as a group. It allowed us to each provide input without having to be together in the same room. We were able to work from anywhere - home, school, work, and even airports. Given that much of the research took place over the Thanksgiving holiday, we were able to work from our hometowns as well. However, we found that meeting as a group proved to be most beneficial. By meeting together, we were able to collaborate and work together in planning and executing the design, layout, and content of our wiki.
The user interface provided us with a simple yet effective means of editing and creating the wiki. Despite the simplicity, we felt that the wiki limited us in terms of complexity of the project -- due to these limitations (as opposed to, say, HTML), we were not able to incorporate as many special features as we would have liked. If the project took place through another medium, we would have faced a completely different set of advantages, but likely would have tackled many disadvantages as well.
Overall, this project was a good learning experience. It challenged us by encouraging us to communicate outside the classroom. It also stimulated our creative abilities by making us construct a team presentation by following a broad set of guidelines.
