Sony's PlayStation needed a controller that would attract attention from the gaming world. As you can see, this controller looks much like the Super Nintendo controller. The main differences that came were additional shoulder buttons. As you can see, the game players are the people who demand what they like. This is why this controller resembles the NES controller that users already liked and wanted.
