Nintendo Revolution

Easily the most interesting and innovative console of the next generation, Nintendo's Revolution seeks to expand and revitalize the gaming world with a new elevation of player control. Nintendo, who has a history of innovation in its creations, has done it again by creating a controller that responds to movemeny gyroscopically, sensing distance from the system and controller rotation. It seems the possibilities are endless for this controller as it can take on infinite identities. Fishing pole? Check. Sword? Check. Boxing Glove? Check. Football? Check. Steering Wheel? Check. This is only a short list to give a glimpse at the controller's capabilities, but surely this controller may open up entire new genres of games that have yet to be unexplored, one's that we have never seen nor comprehended. Because the Revolution features downloadable games dating back to the NES, the controller is able to play games of all of Nintendo's former systems. Furthermore, and perhaps one of Nintendo's most daring moves, Nintendo structured the controller like a remote, hoping to gain the attention of people who have yet to play games due to most controller's ambiguous and unfamiliar shapes.
