The original Nintendo video games were revolutionary for their time. The Nintendo handheld had dual screens that offered greater interaction for the player. The introduction of portability also came into play with the original Nintendo Games. This allowed gamers to play without the constraints of using a television. Portability is also still present with many different types of handhelds today. The greatest innovation that came with the original Nintendo games was the introduction of the cross-shaped button which stood the test of time.
